Rude people on the phone, refused to give me the current selling price on certain metals. All the while giggling and responding to someone in the office. Every other company I called was able to give me the current price for the different grades of metal. I wouldn't use these idiots if they were the only place buying in Phoenix.
I just had my garage door replaced and my neighbor told me to bring it to We Buy Scrap. I had never done anything like that before. When I brought the door down there, they were so professional and friendly! It was the easiest way to make extra cash. Since then, I've gone twice more with other odds and ends around the house like my kids old bicycles, our broken washing machine and some misc. junk my wife didn't want. It was great... I am new to the whole Recycling of metals and wondered why I was seeing so many trucks loaded dow with metal these days. I took some old copper brass and wiring I had in my garage down and got paid more than I thought it was worth for sure.
