American Trade Mark Co., based in Waldwick, New Jersey, manufactures incident command and personnel accountability systems for fire departments and other emergency responders, sold through its firecommand.org website. Products include custom accountability tags, equipment marker decals, and incident command boards such as the Case Commander and K.I.S.S. Commander, used to track crew assignments, apparatus, and medical alerts at an emergency scene.
The company says design, printing, and engraving are done in-house, which allows custom sizing and department-specific markings. It also produces custom fire department plaques, aluminum car plates, and life member and PBA gold cards.
Owner Gordon McIntire and much of the production staff are current or former volunteer or career firefighters, according to the company.
