Southern Nevada Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Las Vegas, founded in 1988 as the Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association. It works under a formal agreement with the Bureau of Land Management.
Its work is centered on Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, where it runs interpretive programming, the fee stations, visitor center services and retail operations. Its programs include guided hikes led by certified interpreters, environmental education and school field trips, youth programs, Indigenous Peoples programming and cultural events, and conservation work on native plants and wildlife.
