Wood’s Flowers and Gifts has operated as a family business in College Park, Maryland since 1938, from a shop on Baltimore Avenue about a mile from the University of Maryland campus. Its work spans fresh arrangements and roses, plants and dish gardens, wedding florals, funeral designs, and greeting cards, in both contemporary and traditional styles.
Delivery covers College Park and nearby Beltsville, Calverton, Adelphi, Greenbelt, and parts of Silver Spring and Laurel, along with regular runs to area hospitals, funeral homes, and senior living facilities. National and international delivery is also offered for orders placed outside the local area.
The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sundays and Mondays, with same-day delivery available for orders placed before 1 p.m.
