Nexstep Medical Detox is a private medical detox facility in Orem, Utah, about thirty minutes from Salt Lake City. It appears in The Joint Commission’s behavioral health care provider locator.
It provides detox only rather than ongoing rehabilitation, covering alcohol, opiates and heroin, benzodiazepines, stimulants and prescription medication, with daily consultations with a licensed medical provider and nursing care around the clock. It refers patients on to rehab, sober living and recovery facilities afterwards, and runs an outpatient arm, Rightway Recovery, for aftercare.
The facility now publishes an East 800 North address, while the phone and email on file date from a directory submission made in June 2019 that gave one on North 1200 West.
