1We bought a home in Phoenix and had our realtor view and photo describe the property for us as we were unable to come, living in Canada. Matt Harlow and Precision Inspection was the suggested inspector so we went along on the basis of our realtor’s suggestion. We paid the usual large amount for such and also a fee for a post contract and upgrade inspection on a few issues. Once we were here, we were in for some big surprises. The pool motor was not working (cost me over $500). One garbage dispoasl unit not working ($250 installed). the master bath jacuzzi tub motor was seized (haven’t proced that yet). The outside hot tub motor not working ($400 more). There are more items to this list I cannot recall at the moment. What did this appraisal mostly say…..all items functional (they did replace the power box and fix a window that was cracked) were said to be ok. Commented on bushes growing too close to the house (what the H does that have to do with structural functionality and the electrical/mechanical important items? What a waste of money to this person and the subsequent expense his inadequacy has caused us. I wouldn’t even give one star here but I think I am forced to. W. Rose 85023

1Look up Matt Harlow Consent Decree (online) and see how many issues his license board found with him. Not only was what I paid him a waste, there were thousands of dollars of problems he missed.
